Yvaine- I see her as being curvy, soft, flowy, with a slightly alien quality about her.
Witch-Queen: I was wafting back and forth between her crone self and her "younger" self. I'm thinking angles, like a statue. Somewhere between Yzma from the Emperor's New Groove, and the sexy human form Ursula took on in The Little Mermaid. So far I've gone too ugly, and the next step is to pretty her up a bit.
This page isn't as well though-out as the other... I'm battling a cold and yesterday I didn't feel so great, which made me sloppy.
OK! Obviously they need lots of work still but I'm going to do a page of thumbs for Sal and Una, and then see where I am. Feedback por favor!

ReplyDeleteI like where you're going. We have a similar feel of the characters. I thought about Yvaine being nude, but decided against it even though I don't naturally assume a falling star would wear cloths. Also, we should decide on a time period for the clothing and all. Obviously we have a lot to work out, but this is a great start.
ReplyDeleteExcellent exaggeration and expression. I would say we all need to work on keeping to the style, but it's especially difficult in the thumbnail stage and we can work it out more easily later.
